I am a Certified Specialist with the State Bar of California for probate, estate planning and trust law. I am licensed to practice law in the State of California and admitted to practice in United States Tax Court.

I have been working in the legal field since 1993; and was inspired to go to law school while working in the courtroom. Shortly after graduating law school, my father unexpectedly passed away. He had no estate plan in place and no Advance Health Care Directive on file. I directly experienced the difficulty and frustrations with winding up his financial and legal affairs during my time of grief; while trying to compartmentalize unnecessary issues brought by an estranged aunt. My personal experience is what drew me to the estate planning, probate and estate administration area of law - which is the focus of my practice.

Before starting my own firm, I was a partner at another estate planning and tax law firm - the first female partner in 46 years. It was on my son's last day of kindergarten that I realized how quickly time flies.  I was immediately motivated to attain a better work-life balance. In order to do so, I had to go out on my own where I could continue to practice law while maintaining a high-level of client satisfaction; and yet be present for my family. 

It has been a wonderfully fulfilling journey thus far and I am extremely thankful for all the support and business my clients continue to provide.

Dorinda is Chastity's legal assistant and a notary.  She accompanies Chastity to out-of-office appointments to notarize and witness documents for clients. 

Dorinda is a loving pet parent to many animals.  When not in the office, she is tending to her brood of hens, drift of pigs, herd of rabbits, flock of ducks, her little girl Bella (a German Shepherd mix) and new baby boy Zeus (a German Shepherd).
